Founded by Yard House Restaurants in 2009, Round It Up America™ gives everyday Americans the ability to donate pocket change to charitable organizations. This giving program provides an opportunity for restaurant patrons to round up their credit card purchase to the nearest dollar, thereby allowing for small and potentially frequent giving. While the individual donations may be nominal, their collective sum is powerful.
Round It Up America™ aims to help neighbors in need in the communities Yard House Restaurants serves. The program provides support to local non-profit agencies, including food banks, homeless shelters, and crisis relief centers and services that protect the welfare of children and older adults living in these communities.
The Orange County Community Foundation is the program administrator for the Yard House Round it Up America fund. OCCF provides day-to-day administration of the fund, including grant distributions to nonprofit agencies across the nation selected by each participating restaurant.
